**Fernic Group Contracting** is looking for a Site Superintendent with a diverse skillset to support our various small and medium projects throughout the **Fraser Valley.**

As a general contractor, Fernic Group’s involvement begins at the earliest stages of design through to client occupancy. **Job overview and responsibilities will include and not limited to**:

- Communicates directly with the Project Managers to identify issues and proactively implement solutions.
- Responsible for overseeing staff, conducting small meetings, provide coaching and training, and on the spot problem solving.
- Able to safely use and maintain various small construction tools and equipment
- Co-ordinate daily activities effectively with our employees and subcontractors
- Monitor and record daily activities and productions
- Work under pressure and tight deadlines

**Qualification Requirements**
- Able to read and understand working drawings as they relate to work requirements and produce as-built drawings and/or sketches
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills
- Must be safety orientated, self-motivated and work well with others
- Able to ensure that a high standard of housekeeping at work areas, equipment and supplies are maintained
- Minimum 5 years construction experience
- Able to plan, direct and coordinate the work of skilled laborers
- Advanced knowledge of carpentry or related field in the construction industry
- Capable of working independently with mínimal supervision
- Flexible and “whatever it takes” attitude
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- construction: 3 years (preferred)
- Construction Superintendents: 2 years (preferred)
