As a café staff member, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including:

  • Welcoming customers with a smile and taking orders with speed and efficiency
  • Preparing, serving and even creating a variety of beverages, sandwiches, pastries, waffles, and dim sum dishes
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and dishwashing stations
  • Operating the cash register and managing cash and card transactions
  • Providing exceptional customer service, answering questions about menu items and making recommendations

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a café or restaurant environment is preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors and management
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
