POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Host, you are the face of our business and a key support in our service, ensuring that the guest experience makes a first timer a regular. You will: ensure all reservations and walk-ups are checked in, with appropriate information gathered (size of party, main contact); maintain a clean and inviting space in and around the Host area as required, as well as wiping down and preparing tables as needed. As a highly visible member of our team, you embody and share our values: Be Real, Have Fun, Own It, and Grow With Us
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensuring the customer experience exceeds expectations from a great welcome until seated, and that guests exiting are acknowledged and made to feel welcome to return
- Advises guests of wait times, and seating options
- Ensures a clean environment, including clearing and resetting tables as needed
- May support in expediting food orders to tables and/or clearing dishes away (location dependent)
- Seeks out opportunities to personalize the guest experience, within acceptable professional parameters
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Focused on customer experience
- Highly collaborative
- Adaptable, able to prioritize and make decisions with agility
