**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with all crop care activities including watering, fertilizing, spacing, pruning, and product movement.
- Monitor plants daily for pests, diseases, and growth performance; escalate issues to the Grower.
- Ensure proper product placement in the greenhouse to optimize space and plant health.
- Support quality control checks for orders priors to shipping.
- Maintain greenhouse cleanliness and follow all CFIA and workplace safety standards.
- Assist in inventory tracking of fertilizers, chemicals, and growing materials.
- Comply with WorkSafe BC joint Health and Safety Regulations.
- Ensure optimal greenhouse conditions, including ventilation, lighting, temperature and humidity control.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and grower on daily priorities and changes.

**Qualifications & Competencies**
- Previous experience in a greenhouse, or horticultural setting preferred.
- Strong worth ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for plant care.
- Ability to follow directions and escalate issues appropriately.
- Physically able to work in a greenhouse environment (lift up to 50 lbs, high humidity, standing for long periods).
- Flexible to work extended hours, Saturdays, or evenings during peak periods.
- Fluent in English (Spanish is an asset).
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the team.

**Skills**:

- Reliable and self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Effective team communication and ability to remain calm under pressure.

**Total Rewards**:

- Wage will be $24 - $26 depending on expertise and experience.
- Extended health and dental benefits after probationary period
- Wage review in January and performance review in January/July.
