Waiter / Waitress

Overview:

- An intermediate to comprehensive understanding of our beer portfolio, a willingness to learn the brewing and production process, and the ability to recommend food menu items, beer, wine, and other beverage based on knowledge of the customers tastes and our offerings. (Comprehensive training and resources specific to our Brewery are provided)
- Maintain all Company standards and guidelines provided by the Operations Manager and CCBC Management Team
- Execute in a timely fashion on daily tasks, including all opening, in-service and closing duties/procedures as provided, including cash-outs, and related online and onsite retail sales order fulfillment
- Daily tableside service in the Taproom and on our Patio, private and corporate event service and hosting onsite tastings (training provided). Live music and Brewery related event service (Vinyl Night, Trivia, etc.) service, in addition.
- Experience and knowledge of industry and provincial regulatory policies and alcohol service rules/regulations (AGCO / Smart Serve)

Qualifications and Experience:

- 1-3+ years (FOH) front of house experience, preferably time actively spent working, volunteering and/or academically involved in the Ontario craft beverage industry
- Knowledge and/or experience with POS systems and/or industry related operational management systems and software (i.e. Square, TouchBistro, Homebase & Microsoft Teams are used in-house)
- SmartServe Certification required, WHMIS, First Aid and CPR and other related training preferred
