**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' mental well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to appropriate personnel.

**Skills**
- Experience in patient care or senior care is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques tailored for various dietary needs.
- Familiarity with hospice care practices and medication administration protocols.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Understanding of working with persons with disabilities and their specific needs.
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the client’s environment.
