NDT Trainee

We are currently seeking _**NDT Trainees**_ to join and contribute to our team. This is a full-time manufacturing shop position reporting to the NDT Level III and will be based out of Ottawa.

Title: NDT Trainee

Reports to: NDT Level III

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 Pm

Job Industry: Manufacturing Shop, Ottawa - Ontario

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist Level II Technicians in the set up and calibration of testing equipment for penetrant testing.
- Assist Level II Technicians with penetrant testing in the shop.
- Assist Level III Weld Inspector for visual pre-weld, in process, and post weld inspection.
- Assist Level III Weld Inspector for examining and evaluating welds according to Company inspection procedure.
- Collect all weld data using Company ERP system.
- Adherence to safety regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Reside in the National Capital Region
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada.
- Must be able to obtain Controlled Good clearance.
- Be capable of following written work instructions in English.
- NDT experience would be considered an asset.
- Ability to work with computer
- Ability to work at heights (fall arrest training will be provided).
- Able to lift 50 pounds.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

- Ottawa, ON K1B 3V3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
