**ABOUT US**

**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**

Reporting to the appropriate site supervisor, the Industrial Painter QC will be responsible to ensure Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. achieves their general and specific project requirements.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Performing inspections on materials, equipment, and construction activities
- Issuing quality records and writing non-conformance reports
- Monitoring and reporting compliance with quality standards and procedures
- Recommending ways to improve quality and analyzing quality concerns
- Following safety precautions and reporting safety incidents
- Communicating with operators, maintenance, and supervisors about quality issues
- Planning project quality records and documentation

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**
- NACE Level 2 certificate is an asset
- Physical strength and stamina
- Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment related to painting
- Manual dexterity
- A safety-conscious attitude
- The ability to work with others in a team
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues with painting equipment
- Repetitive movement
- Able to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Continuously changing work tasks
- Ability to work a significant number of hours throughout the day
- Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments

Pay: $51.96 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- industrial painting: 1 year (preferred)
- quality control: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- NACE Level 2 Certification (required)
