The **Kingston, ON office** is seeking a detail oriented, dedicated and professional **Project Coordinator **to join the team.

**SUMMARY OF THE ROLE**:
Reporting to the Area Manager and Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will assist with all aspects of construction projects from estimating and tendering to managing the day-to-day activities, administration and will have the responsibility of effectively managing multiple projects at the same time.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Estimating**
- Maintain document control
- Review bid packages to sort/summarize pertinent documents
- Coordinate tender proposal requirements including review of terms and conditions, bonding and insurance requirements, tender breakdown requirements and preliminary schedules
- Distribute tender documents to potential sub-trades
- Attend pre-bid meetings which can include detailed & lengthy site investigations, i.e., climbing ladders & stairs, crawling into tight areas, carrying drawings, etc.
- Assist with preparing estimate and pricing
- Complete take-off of materials
- Post tender activities, such as follow up and project initiation activities

**Project Coordination (Kingston office)**
- Prepare tracking documentation for a wide variety of issues
- Obtaining safety documentation from the site and filing it
- Issue purchase requisitions for sub-trades, equipment and materials as directed
- Monitor and track labour hours, material and equipment expenditures
- Prepare weekly timesheets for payroll
- Track and monitor project changes and costs (and assists with estimating same)
- Prepare and submit monthly billings including coordination with site supervision and the Client
- Attend site meeting and shop visits as required
- Create and maintain schedules in accordance with project progression

**Project Coordination (on-site)**
- Mobilize site administration offices and prepares file set up for site supervisor
- May be involved in site meetings, logging inventory of incoming materials, time keeping
- Provide and maintain the required documentation for site use with current revision levels
- Periodically visit the project job sites to deliver drawings, small tools, etc.
- Occasionally assigned to work on-site for short durations as required
- Required to deliver drawings, supplies and small tools to site which may exceed 50 lb. in weight.

**General Duties**
- Perform variety of clerical and administrative duties using a variety of different systems or procedures
- Arrange, participate in, and organize, as directed, conferences and meetings
- Maintain filing systems and directories
- Perform such other and reasonable duties, backup or responsibilities as may be required to effectively support the organization

**KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Mechanical Engineering Degree, Construction Engineering Technology Diploma (3 year) from an accredited College or University, or previous Project Management experience as a Tradesperson
- Some knowledge of building codes and construction industry laws

**SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS**:

- Demonstrated scheduling ability with a minimum of 1 year field coordination and/or scheduling software experience
- Experience with maintaining and monitoring project budgets
- Intermediate level project management or project coordination experience in a construction environment
- Proven ability in leading a field project team of both trades and non-trade professionals
- Intermediate level skill in Primavera and MS Office project as well as Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communicator (Both written and verbal)
- Must possess a G-Level drivers license and a clear driving record
- The use of AutoCAD is considered an asset
- Drafting abilities are considered an asset
- BIM experience is considered an asset
- 3D modeling experience is considered an asset
