**What you'll do**
You will oversee independent business (IB) accounts including growth and profitability of the IB segment in this portfolio. You'll acquire new clients, grow existing customer accounts, and connect them with the best Moneris solutions to make their businesses succeed. You will create your own success by driving growth, profitability and aspire to maximize targets. With the support of your collaborative team and experienced leaders, you will undergo training and get the technology you need to succeed. You will report to the Manager, IB Regional Sales.
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from pre-sales to post-sales.
- Develop business relationships with accounts and help create proposals and presentations/demos targeted at solving our needs of prospects and existing clients.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms and conditions to ensure pricing and terms reflect the achievement of corporate goals.
- Drive execution for customer acquisition, speed-to-market, ease of integration, and service levels.
- Create forecasts, sales reports, manage pipelines, and ongoing status reports.
- Ensure and educate on compliance, operating procedures and payment industry trends to the sales team and clients.
- Continue to enhance your skills by using Moneris training and development programs.
**What you bring**
- **Must-have experience, knowledge, skills & abilities**_
- Ability to build relationships, with experience to strategize and influence to meet our goals.
- Highly motivated person with excellent interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows/ MS Office Applications.
- A valid provincial driver's licence and vehicle available.
- **Nice-to-have experience, knowledge, skills & abilities**_
- 3+ years of direct, strategic sales or account management or business development experience with a record of accomplishment with excellent sales results customer conversion and retention in a fast-paced complex environment (_Regional Consultant_)
- Post-Secondary Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution.
- CRM experience, preferably with SalesForce
- Bilingual written and oral communication skills (e.g., English and French/Mandarin/Cantonese/Korean/Punjabi/Hindi, etc.)
- Previous experience in the payment industry.

**Who you'll work with**
Our Sales and Marketing department is made up of eight functions: MARCOM, National Sales, B2B Sales, Regional Sales, Sales Support, Sales Centre and IBLR, Sales and Marketing Analytics, and Financial Institutions.
