This Retail Sales Key Holder Position Is For You, If You Would Enjoy:

- The Key Holder is a Sales Associate/Stock Keeper that is taking on additional responsibilities to support efficient store operations and is paid an additional premium for hours worked The Key Holder leads Sales Associates to successfully complete all of their duties at the Point of Sale ( including sales, refunds, exchanges and oversees

finalizes cash out processes.
- Working at Halifax Stanfield International Airport

The Team is counting on you as a Retail Sales Key Holder to:

- Work a schedule with open / very flexible availability with the ability to work any shift between the hours of 4 am to 11 pm on weekdays and weekends (with the occasional requirement to work past 11 pm)
- Work a Full-time schedule

Key Accountabilities:

- Acknowledge and greet customers as they enter the store or approach the cash wrap.
- Follow all company policies, cash handling policies and special store loss prevention procedures.
- Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees and store management. Effectively operate a cash register.
- Know basic store layout to assist customers in their selection of product and be able to answer customer questions about the entire store.
- Be knowledgeable and familiar with the surrounding businesses/offerings within the facility.
- Communicate pricing, out of date and inventory issues with management.
- Assist other store employees in maintaining security in stores. Stock merchandise.
- Inform management of any out of stock situations.
- Help maintain a neat, clean, organized store, which includes sweeping, dusting, straightening of merchandise on store fixtures and displays.
- Assist with book inventory process (i.e., ordering, receiving, returns).
- Perform related work as assigned.
- Be able to lift 40 pounds

POS Management
- Investigates and reports any errors or discrepancies to the Sales Supervisors
- Oversees cash out processes
- Carries out day to day operation of the POS areas including transactions and ensures supplies such as bags, thermal POS
- rolls, stationary and STEB bags (if applicable) are at adequate levels.
- Processes refunds, returns, exchanges and troubleshoots problems

Selling & Customer Experience
- Aware of daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales targets, offers, promotions and events and responds to questions from team members
- Responds to customer queries and complaints in a polite and courteous manner refers to the Supervisor or Manager on Duty when appropriate.

Teamwork
- Takes action to problem solve or effectively communicate to supervisors for assistance
- Works cooperatively with co workers to accomplish sales and service goals
- Assists with executing the employee deployment plan within the shops, helping to ensure that all zones on the sales floor are adequately covered
- Provides coaching to fellow associates to help improve performance
- Participates in new employee training

Loss Prevention
- Reports all product damages/stolen items, Food & Tobacco expiry issues and secures all stock and keys appropriately at all times
- Completes Daily Stock Counts/Rotaries accurately and efficiently

General
- Supervises team compliance and understanding with all company policies and procedures, Customs regulations and relevant trading laws, raising any concerns or issues when necessary.
- Performs any other duties as requested in a diligent and conscientious manner
- Performs shop opening and closing duties as assigned
- Performs all other responsibilities as directed by the business or leadership team of which the team member is capable of performing.
