London, Canada Definitive Lawn & Garden Service Full time

Summary of position:
Assist in all required daily labour operations of the business, to ensure superior quality lawn and garden service to the clientele of Definitive Lawn & Garden Service. Henceforth referred to as DLGS. Assist in any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be available max 6-7 days per week during the season including weekends, holidays and evenings when necessary
- Have a specific interest in the landscape business
- Must have previous experience with related equipment and safe handling practices
- Drivers License, clean abstract required and own transportation preferred.
- Current police check required (CDC)
- Consideration given to those in or graduated from a certified CLT or similar program.

Performance Objectives:

- Assist in any way required for the successful, profitable operation of the business on a day to day basis; including, residential mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, hedge trimming, weeding, mulching, turf & garden installation, enhancements, renovation etc. Also any other duties and activities as deemed necessary by DLGS.
- Ensure superior quality in any and all services performed on behalf of DLGS.
- Ensure that you are in clean uniform and personally presentable when providing services.
- Ensure superior, above and beyond client service attitude to any and all clients of DLGS.
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations and streamline work processes, and work co-operatively to provide quality and cost effective services and seamless client service.
- Ensure that you have read and fully understand the safety and operational manuals for all equipment and tools you use.
- Assist in the care, cleaning and maintenance of all equipment, trailers and vehicles.
- Ensure the success of DLGS by consistently noting any deficiencies on client’s properties and forwarding that information to your supervisor / DLGS.
- Expected to be well versed in any and all of the secondary services that can be provided by DLGS and to communicate such to existing clients if we do not already provide it, or someone else currently provides them.
- Ensure that any operational or health & safety issue is reported to the supervisor immediately

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
