**JOB TITLE**: Medical Aesthetician

**LOCATION**:Beauty Rewind Edmonton (10525 Jasper Ave #103)

The majority of the work will be based in Edmonton, but availability to work at both the Edmonton and Sherwood Park location is preferred.

**EMPLOYMENT STATUS**: Part Time/Full-time

**HOURS OF WORK**:Clinic Hours: 30-40 hours

**COMPENSATION**: $21.00 - $26.00/hr Earning Potential with Commission

**JOB SUMMARY**

As an Aesthetician at **Beauty Rewind - A Bios Wellness Clinic**, you will deliver advanced skincare treatments and personalized care to clients, maintaining high professional and ethical standards. Proficient in cutting-edge technologies and skincare concepts, you will guide clients towards optimal skin health while collaborating effectively with our team and adapting to the clinic's evolving needs.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Technical Expertise**
- Advanced understanding of skincare products and treatments such as ZO, Viver and more.
- Certified and Trained on CoolSculpting.
- Perform treatments such as Microneedling Dermaplaning, Chemical Peels, and Facial Treatments (Hydrafacial or Equivalent)
- Perform in-depth and informative skin consults to help customer along their skin health journey, and refer them to other services within the clinic
- Ability to support customer through the check-in and out process, and support with booking appointments or additional services
- Perform laser treatments, including hair removal and skin rejuvenation, adhering to safety protocols is an asset
- Experience with Zenoti is an asset

**Client-Centered Care**
- Deliver a friendly, welcoming, and professional first impression to all visitors.
- Assist with the scheduling and managing of client appointments using the clinic’s booking system as needed.
- Actively listen to client concerns, assess needs, and deliver customized treatment solutions.
- Ensure all treatments adhere to clinic standards and protocols.
- Provide clients with post-treatment care instructions.
- Offer guidance on daily skincare routines and wellness practices.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual client assessments.

**Communication**
- Communicate complex skincare concepts to clients clearly and effectively.

**Product Knowledge and Sales**
- Recommend appropriate skincare products to clients.
- Promote clinic services and products.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product ingredients and their effects.

**Attention to Detail**
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, particularly in following safety protocols and accurately documenting client information.

**Professionalism and Ethics**
- Uphold a high standard of professionalism and ethical conduct, particularly in handling client confidentiality and sensitive information.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- **Education**:Certification from an accredited aesthetician program with coursework in dermatology or cosmetology or equivalent work experience.
- **Licensure**: Valid Aesthetician license in AB, is considered an asset.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical or wellness clinic setting preferred.
- **Technical Skills**:Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with appointment scheduling software. Experience with Zenoti is considered an asset.
- **Interpersonal Skills**:Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented attitude.
