**Please note: We are looking to fill an infant ECE contract position from September 2024 to September 2025.**

**We currently have over 150 childcares across Canada & USA and are constantly expanding;**_come and grow within the company_**

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain documentation, reporting and record keeping
- Implement an Emergent Curriculum
- Support children’s emotional, physical, or behavioural well being; while helping to develop their social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills
- Maintain attendance, and health and safety checks
- Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary
- Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms
- Meet all classroom ratios as outlined in CCEYA
- Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops

**Specifications**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels with children, parents and co-workers.
- Ability to utilize computer systems for all documentation, reporting, and classroom operations
- Strong collaborator and team player
- Ability to take initiative in and out of the classroom
- Strong problem-solving skills

**Qualifications**
- Registered ECE within the province of Nova Scotia
- Clear Child Abuse Registry
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal reference check
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
- Immunization records up to date
- Ability to push, pull and lift up
- to 45 pounds
