**Other Information**:1 hour per day, Monday-Friday, term until June 26, 2025.

**Responsibilities may include**:

- Coordinating and managing the daily operations of the school’s nutrition program, including menu planning,

food preparation, distribution, and cleaning under supervision of a teacher***
- Purchasing food and maintaining a budget***
- Ensuring the program adheres to all relevant health and safety regulations and division policies***
- Maintaining accurate records such as meal plans and student participation***
- Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages student participation in the program***

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in nutrition or related fields is considered an asset***
- Food handler’s certification is preferred***
- Experience working in a school or similar environment, preferable in a food services or nutrition role***
- Demonstrated ability in preparing food for large groups, ideally within a school or similar setting***
- Basic knowledge of nutrition and health guidelines***
- Familiar with food safety and sanitation standards***
- Strong organization and time-management skills***
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills***
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team***

As a condition of employment, all new hires must complete a satisfactory criminal record check with vulnerable
sector search, and child abuse registry check as part of the hiring process.

Salary & benefits for this position will be administered in accordance with the SRSD/Educational Assistant collective
bargaining agreement (CBA).
