We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Systems Administrator to join our IT Operations team in London, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations and high system availability. This role also supports the development of intelligent automation solutions that improve operational maturity, scalability, and resiliency.
- Design and implement automated workflows using Power Automate to reduce repetitive tasks and improve service desk efficiency.
- Build and maintain intelligent bots and virtual agents using Copilot Studio to enhance self-service capabilities and streamline support.
- Collaborate with IT Systems, Security, and Project Delivery teams to deploy, secure, and monitor infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments.
- Manage patching, updates, and endpoint maintenance using tools like SCCM and Intune, with automation-first principles.
- Monitor and report on system performance, availability, and capacity, recommending improvements based on data-driven insights.
- Administer backups, security controls, and infrastructure changes with a focus on automation and repeatability.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives by implementing and maintaining technical controls aligned with best practices.
- Handle escalations from Tier I and II analysts, using automation to accelerate resolution and reduce ticket volume.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend infrastructure enhancements to prevent recurrence.
- Participate in IT change management and execute approved changes with mínimal disruption.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash
- Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio is required
- Proficiency with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Datadog, Nagios, Zabbix, LogicMonitor).
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and implementation
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery systems
- Proficiency in using monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in IT operations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Relevant certifications such as MCSE, RHCE, CompTIA Server+, or CCNA are preferred
- Self-motivated and proactive in identifying automation opportunities and operational efficiencies.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
