Blow Mold Operator

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate, monitor, and adjust blow molding machines according to production requirements and safety standards.
- Conduct pre-start inspections and ensure equipment is in safe operating condition before use.
- Perform in-process quality checks (e.g., container integrity, weight, appearance) to ensure compliance with production standards.
- Document production data and maintain accurate shift records.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical and process issues to minimize downtime.
- Assist with mold and material changeovers as scheduled.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all operations are conducted in a safe, organized, and efficient manner.
- Report all unsafe conditions, equipment hazards, and near misses immediately to the supervisor.
- Comply with all workplace safety protocols, policies, and procedures, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (e.g., safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses).
- Participate in required health and safety training, safety talks, inspections, and drills as per company and OHSA standards.
- Handle raw materials and finished products in accordance with safe material handling practices and WHMIS requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production and safety targets.
- Other duties as assigned/required

**Skills**
- Proficiency in programmable logic controllers (PLC) for machine operation. (preferred)
- 1+ years’ experience operating blow molding or similar plastic forming equipment preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production machinery.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
- Experience with quality inspection techniques to ensure product standards are met.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, particularly in assembly roles or related functions. Join our team as an Injection Mold Operator and contribute to the production of high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
