We are looking for a **Technical Writer** to work one of their the data engineering team. Work with Product owners and Engineers to create internal and external documentation of our Data lake infrastructure, our PAAS/SAAS solutions.

**What you will be doing**:

- Complete writing assignments and documentation according to standards set by the Technical Director, Software Development Manager, and Technical Lead in fluid order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
- Confer with team members within and outside of the department to establish guidelines and best practices. Be the champion of documentation.
- Write software documentation from technical specifications, discussions with developers and Product Owners, and hands-on experimentation.
- Build and maintain our data catalog, with clear description of the data structure, lineage, quality, monitoring, and its ownership.
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while working independently and within a team environment.
- Maintain records and files of work and revisions in an organized system
- Provide layout and formatting assistance for publication of Process Guides, Documents, and other written materials.
- Ensure consistency and excellence in process documentation and practices for the group.

**Must Haves**:

- 3-5 years experience working as a Technical Writer or in a similar role.
- Experience in Ad-tech industry and/or derived industries.
- Ability to analyze ( source code, data lake structure, etc. ) and synthesize complex content.
- Strong technical aptitude-ability to quickly learn new concepts and tools.
- Proficiency with Data lake infrastructure, SQL Database, and derived technology.
- Familiar with SQL, as well as other programming languages including Java, Python, Javascript, or others.

**Nice to haves**:

- Experience working with large scale projects while coordinating multiple stakeholders.
