Bouygues Energies & Services is a leading provider of Facility Management services to a range of clients across Canada and, through our parent company Bouygues Construction, globally. Our Canadian projects include the government, aviation industry, and healthcare and entertainment sectors.

Currently we are seeking a casual on-call Housekeeper to join our team at Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre in Surrey, BC. This position reports to the Housekeeping Manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cleaning floors by mopping tile and concrete floors and vacuuming all carpeted areas; washing and buffing floors with a floor polisher.
- Cleaning washroom areas by washing and disinfecting all floors, toilets, sinks, counters and mirrors and replenishing toilet tissue and soap as required.
- Dusting furniture, baseboards and fixtures; washing all finger marks from walls, doors, hardware and glass
- Emptying all waste and recycling containers and place waste and recycling items in the appropriate outside storage bins.
- Cleaning patient care areas in between patients according to infection control standards and isolation protocol.
- Cleaning blood and body fluid hazardous spills disposing of biohazard and chemical waste in the prescribed method.
- Performing discharge duties to infection control standards by disinfecting rooms, disinfecting stretchers/exam tables, changing linen and transporting to assigned area; cleaning and tidying cupboards, basins and tables.
- Maintain housekeeping-related equipment by cleaning, lubricating and replacing items such as filter bags and belts.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Have previous cleaning experience
- Have a strong understanding of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products and equipment.
- Knowledge and training in Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System will be considered an asset.
- Interact positively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

**HOURS OF WORK**:
As a casual on-call Housekeeper, you would not have set work shifts but would be asked to fill work shifts at various times and days based on your availability.

This role requires availability from 8.30am to 6.30pm (depending on the start time of the shift) and/or 5.00pm to 1.30am for afternoon shift.

**COMPENSATION**:
Hourly rate of $18.39hr (one dollar less during the probationary period).
