**About Teslica**

With a showroom located at 244 Britannia Road, and a service centre close by on 2650 Priscilla Street, we are an Ottawa based business that is expanding each year, we sell and service our own brand of electric bikes. Our aim is to help people enjoy a life of health, happiness, and freedom. We have 13 different models of ebike, ranging from little foldable bikes to big dual suspension fat tire ebikes.

**What is different about Teslica eBikes?**

We are an Ottawa based company, and we sell our own brand of ebikes. Cutting down on the middle man and giving our customers the best prices for ebikes.

We are located near the Trans-Canada bike trail, where we offer free test rides for interested customers, so that they can ride our demo bike before purchasing.

Old school service, new technology. We make sure to keep all of our spare parts in stock, to make sure customers are not waiting for parts, ebike parts can be really hard to find, but our customers never have to worry about that. We also provide 2-year warranties to each bike we sell.

Our top propriety is making sure every single customer is happy. This has translated into our amazing reviews online and on Google reviews.

**Hire position**:
**Seasonal Bicycle Mechanic/Sales person (Spring till September 1st)**

Most Teslica employees will be able to perform parts of both sales and service, each employee will be given the training needed to perform the following tasks:
**Sales Aspect**:

- Greet our customers with a happy face and good energy.
- Explain how our bikes function and answer any question customers may have.
- Finalizing sales and performing the purchase transition.
- Taking in and releasing bike.
- Creating work orders (computerized).

**Mechanic Aspect**
- Assemble new bikes and make sure they are in road worth condition.
- Fix and tune service bike.
- Finalizing sales and performing the purchase transition.
- Taking in and releasing bike.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working in retail, trades, or any other field.
- Good positive energy, and ability to have a good time
- Strong communicational skills.
- Ability to follow procurers.
- Bicycle mechanic knowledge is preferred for mechanics.
- Bilingualism is a plus.
- Attention to details.
- Friendly attitude towards customers and co-workers.
- Able to work under pressure when busy.
- High productivity, able to get tasks done.
- Respect organization and cleanliness.
- Integrity and honesty.

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $15.50-$20.00 per hour
