As a Cybersecurity Governance Specialist, Data Protection, you will play a key role in our Cybersecurity Strategic Governance and Architecture team. You’ll have the opportunity to be involved in a major security program, which safeguards the data of the Bank and its clients. Come work with us and make a difference
Your role:
You will work with those responsible for DLP security practices and data encryption and provide them with data protection support. You will use your skills to develop and adopt the requirements, controls and processes for mitigating the risks related to harmful behaviour and technology deficiencies that could compromise the Bank's and our clients' sensitive data. Your main duties:
- Update and analyze the results of our DLP scan (discovery of sensitive data)
- Enhance our indicators to understand user behaviours and trends to address
- Contribute to changing the practice, develop our standards and controls for data protection and provide the necessary support for adopting and assessing them
- Contribute to positioning security measures to limit the risk of data exfiltration through websites, sharing solutions and data warehousing environments
- Help identify needs and assess technological solutions for data protection
- Contribute to filtering service desk requests
Required skills:
- Completed bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity
- Experience with DLP and CASB solutions
- Ability to work with data and log analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Splunk)
- Ability to work with numerous collaborators: security advisors, architects, users in business lines, etc.
- Ability to explain cybersecurity requirements and controls with uninitiated, internal clients
Preferred skills**:
- CISSP or CISA certification
- Knowledge of security control frameworks: ISO27002, CIS, NIST
- Ability to summarize information and influence decision making
- Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English and French)
