**Job Summary**

Plan, organize and control marketing initiatives with a focus on Events and Merchandising that aligns with branding, customer market, financial and corporate objectives.

**Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities**
- Participate in marketing strategy, research and development requirements, branding and coordination for existing and emerging marketing plans.
- Plan, coordinate, execute and measure projects core Marketing priorities with a specialty in merchandising, events of all scales, branding initiatives and sales promotions.
- Provide technical expertise, develop communications and/or training of marketing initiatives and monthly newsletters.
- Conduct routine marketing analysis to develop standard operating procedures.
- Develop and maintain merchandising, signage and fixture programs.
- Plan, execute, participate and measure events for Customers, Associates and Suppliers on time and on budget.
- Plan, execute, strategize and collaborate in new branch builds, relocations and/or renovations.
- Manage vendors, marketing collateral, supplies and administrative tasks.

**Nature and Scope**
- Solutions require analysis and investigation.
- Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.
- Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.

**Work Environment**
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

**Education and Experience**
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud with strengths in Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat.
- Vast knowledge of store fixtures and signage materials.
- Excellent communication and customer content writing skills.
- Experience in design proofing and working with graphic designers with knowledge of fundamental design concepts.
- Event & Tradeshow experience in planning and executing small to large scale events.
- Strong project and budget management skills.
- Experience in managing and developing talent of Marketing Associates.
