**Job Overview**:
As an operator of a tandem boom truck which requires a class 3 license and an air brake endorsement. In addition to serving customers upon their arrival in the yard, you will also be responsible for operating various freight handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Your role will also involve the maintenance and delivery of goods using delivery trucks or other company vehicles. While ensuring you are maintaining and inspecting the boom for safe operations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch.
- Work in a polite, effective, and professional manner with customers and other employees.
- Able to operate Boom/Crane following CSA standards.
- Assist in loading trucks and responsibility for load security.
- Identify and report damaged goods and/or shortages.
- Complete paperwork as required to be related to shipping orders and product returns.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintain driving logs.
- Operate boom trucks to transport materials to and from locations.
- Load and unload materials from the truck using the boom.
- Follow all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
**Requirements**:
- Valis Class 3 or higher driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a boom truck or similar vehicle.
- Knowledge of boom truck operations and safety regulations.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in all weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills as you deal with the public.
**How to Apply**:
Pay: $44,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
