**PDI is currently looking to fill a position for Parts Clerk for our Guelph, ON terminal.**

**Summary: Parts Clerk** role involves maintaining an inventory of parts at the Elizabeth Street garage for motor vehicles, trailers, and industrial equipment. Position requires maintaining inventory, stocking/issuing parts, and supplies and purchasing parts and services.

**What you’ll do as a Parts Clerk**:

- Catalogue Inventory; updating automated inventory system
- Receive shipments; ensuring accuracy of orders and obtaining MSDS
- General stockroom practices and procedures
- Assist in maintaining work orders; labour and parts details
- Use a variety of materials and inventory operations equipment, i.e. forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, computers, etc.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- High school diploma/GED
- Two years of automotive parts counter work experience or any combination of education and experience
- Valid Ontario drivers’ license
- Valid Forklift License
- Ability to perform physical tasks; walking, bending, stooping, and lifting or carrying moderately heavy objects.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Guelph, ON N1E 5R1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Automotive parts/customer service: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's license (required)
- Forklift license (required)
