**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Director of Environmental, the **Regional Environmental Manager**, will be responsible to work with the business and employees of Ontario to oversee the environmental requirements to ensure compliance and ensure stakeholders are engaged.
**What you're responsible for**:
- Identifying, assessing, and reducing environmental risks within Ontario.
- Partnering with Environmental Director to identify industry developments and business trends relating to environment and our industry.
- Managing coordinators and advisors assigned to the Ontario Environmental Team.
- Partnering with Environmental Director in creating, reviewing, and updating environmental KPIs.
- Planning the coordination for feeder yard inspections, audits and support that feeder yards may require.
- Reviewing site audits and inspection reports and work with the coordinators to ensure that corrective actions are in place as required.
- Providing technical and administrative direction to Environmental Team and ensuring all policy and procedures developed adhere to current regulations and is in-line with corporate vision.
**Qualifications**:
**To Join our team**:
- You have a Bachelor in related field to environment
- You have 5 years of experience in similar role
- You have experience of managing and maintaining environmental programs.
- You have experience within industrial environment preferred.
- You have Working knowledge of Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001).
- You have experience of delivering effective environmental coaching.
- You have strong interpersonal and influencing skills with ability to manage site-level, regional operational and senior management relationships.
- You have a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Ontario
