Experienced Structured Cabling Technician

**CableIT Inc. is a successful IT Solutions provider that that supports their current and future IT needs. We are a preferred partner of choice for services such as structured cabling, network installations and management, WIFI installation and management, CCTV installations and Advertising portals through wifi services.**

**We are in search of an experienced structured cabling technician to join our team and take the lead on installation of ethernet, coax and fiber cables, networking equipment, and CCTV systems. This individual will work with other team members to**
- **Install ethernet and coaxial cable with mínimal supervision within reasonable deadlines**:

- **Install all cabling equipment in MDF and IDF locations (Racks, mounts, switches, patch pannels)**:

- **Terminate, dress and test cables**:

- **Good mechanical aptitude - working with hand tools and power equipment**

**THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST**:

- **Be Canadian residents or have authorization to work in Canada**:

- **Be able to communicate in English and follow as well as give instructions**:

- **Have 3-5 years of experience with vertical and horizontal network cabling**:

- **Be able to distinguish colours**:

- **Be able to work for extended periods on their feet**:

- **Be able to read floor plans**:

- **Own CSA approved steel toed work boots and hard hat (annual PPE allowance is provided)**:

- **Supply basic personal tools once on the job (annual tool allowance is provided)**:

- **Have a G-license with a clean driving record**:

- **Have a physical dexterity to lift atleast 25 lbs to 50 lbs**:

- **Comfortable with working at heights and in confined spaces**

**Education**:

- **Secondary School (preferred)**

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
