**Overview**

**Duties**
- Develop and implement engaging activity plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents regarding their development.
- Lead activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Maintain organized records of student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with special education staff to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills.

**Qualifications**
- A valid Alberta ECE certificate.
- First Aid, CPR and food safety certificate.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Leadership abilities to guide classroom activities and manage student behavior effectively.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Organizational skills to maintain classroom order and manage lesson plans efficiently.
- Ability to write clear reports on student progress and communicate effectively with parents.
- Experience or training in special education is beneficial but not required.
- A clear criminal police check with vulnerable sector.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.50-$20.00 per hour
