**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and future customers.
- Engage in both inside and outside sales to secure new accounts and expand our customer base.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities through direct outreach, networking, and industry events.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue and efficiently utilize available assets.
- Provide accurate and competitive freight quotes for new and existing customers.
- Negotiate rates and accessorial charges to align with current market conditions.

**Operations Management**:

- Support the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Manage load bookings, organize shipments, and ensure all details are correctly entered into our load booking system.
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns, delivering top-tier customer service and solutions.
- Ensure all profiles and data within Dispatch Mate are accurate and up to date.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the transportation/logistics industry.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for interacting with customers, drivers, and colleagues.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in sales (both inside and outside) and dispatching commercial vehicles.
- Familiarity with Dispatch Mate or similar dispatch software preferred but not required.
- Strong geographical knowledge of Ontario and an understanding of the logistics landscape.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to think creatively to solve problems.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented with a professional attitude.
