**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Events Sales & Venue Coordinator is responsible for driving event revenue while delivering exceptional guest experiences from first inquiry to final follow-up. Reporting to the Hospitality General Manager, this role blends proactive sales, thoughtful planning, and hands-on event execution.
You’ll be the primary point of contact for private, corporate, and community events - owning the client journey, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring events reflect the Good Robot brand and hospitality standards.
**WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR...**
**Event Sales & Business Development**
- Proactively prospect, pitch, and secure new event bookings (corporate, private, and community).
- Manage the events inbox and respond to inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
- Build strong client relationships through clear communication and thoughtful service.
- Work with the Hospitality GM to develop event packages and offerings that drive revenue and client experience.
**Event Planning & Execution**
- Manage the full event lifecycle from inquiry and planning through execution and post-event follow-up.
- Coordinate with FOH and BOH teams to ensure events are properly staffed and prepared.
- Own event-day execution, including greeting clients, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Gather post-event feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
**Marketing & Promotion Support**
- Partner with the Marketing team to promote seasonal offerings, holiday parties, and specialty events.
- Contribute creative ideas that align with the Good Robot brand and guest expectations.
- Support the execution of in-house activations such as trivia nights, ticketed events, and partnerships.
**Financial Performance & Reporting**
- Track the event sales pipeline, conversion rates, and booking outcomes.
- Monitor spend per guest and identify upsell opportunities.
- Report event performance, insights, and learnings to the Hospitality GM.
**WHAT YOU BRING TO GOOD ROBOT**
- Experience in hospitality, events, sales, or venue coordination (or a strong combination of these).
- Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships and closing the loop.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple events and timelines at once.
- Comfortable working both behind the scenes and on the floor during live events.
- Solutions-oriented, calm under pressure, and guest-focused.
- Alignment with Good Robot’s values: camaraderie, ownership, curiosity, and community.
**Working Conditions**
- Mix of administrative work and on-site event execution.
- Evenings and weekends required based on event schedules.
- Fast-paced, people-facing hospitality environment.
- **Regular travel required between Good Robot venues**, including **two Halifax locations and one Elmsdale, Nova Scotia location**. Reliable transportation is required.

Pay: $48,000.00-$51,000.00 per year
