Position Type: Full-Time

Compensation**:$30-$40 per hour** (we are willing to pay more depending on experience)

**About Us**:
Best Coast Lights is a leading holiday lighting installation company, known for transforming homes, commercial, and public spaces with creative, high-quality lighting displays. Based in Whistler, we combine craftsmanship, technical expertise, and a passion for festive magic resulting in truly excellent displays.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead a small team in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lighting systems
- Lead and train install crews in safe rigging and wiring practices
- Manage DMX show control systems
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance schedules for all technical equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company protocols
- Serve as on-call technical support during operational periods

**Qualifications**:

- Experience with professional lighting systems and AV production is an asset
- Comfortable working at heights, in various weather conditions, and in fast-paced environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Valid driver’s license (Class 5)
- Knowledge of show control systems is preferred but not required
