**Olds Softgels Inc. **is a growing, fast-paced, international, manufacturer of pharmaceutical, cannabis, and nutritional products that currently has an opening for a career-oriented individual to serve as our dynamic **Production Supervisor** at our facility in Olds, Alberta.

This role is responsible for assisting the Production Manager to direct the daily operational activities (including raw material, dispensing, mixing, encapsulation, inspection, bottling, etc.) to meet customer requirements and to assist in product development. The Production Supervisor will work closely with department leaders to assist in the training, coaching and supervision of a team of experts to produce exceptional products.

**Specific Job Duties**:

- Create a daily schedule and monitor department performance to operational standards (Output, Quality, Yield, Productivity, etc.)
- Organize, train, coach, support, and supervise team members as needed.
- Monitor performance and provide feedback to management.
- Ensure compliance of self and others to processes, systems (specifications, SOPs, GMPs) and all company policies.
- Monitor product quality.
- Communicate with relevant management and actively participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure department activities are executed appropriately.
- Timely and accurate completion of batch records, logbooks, cleaning tags; review paperwork for errors and omissions; prepare issues and use of raw material documentation.
- Ensure self and operators are compliant with all safety procedures, policies, and work practices.
- Sanitation.
- Diagnose product and equipment issues.
- Assist in writing Master PBRs as required; participate in special production projects, and duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory, team lead, or leadership role.
- Exhibit assertive and balanced leadership skills.
- Innovative, creative, and results driven.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal relations skills combined with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated with eagerness to learn, a positive attitude, and a commitment to continuous improvement for self and others.
- Able to perform physical activities for the duration of shift (standing, walking, moving equipment, etc.) including repetitive movements.
- Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs (22 kg).
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical and/or cannabis manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
- Health Canada Cannabis Security Clearance considered an asset.
