Supply Chain Analyst

We are recruiting a **Supply Chain Analyst**to join our team in Sherwood Park, AB. The Supply Chain Analyst will play a key role in optimizing Supply Chain operations using business intelligence to drive efficiency and help achieve sustainable business practices. This role will use a combination of your business intelligence acumen and Supply Chain skills, particularly in contracting and will provide you with a well-rounded knowledge of many areas within Supply Chain Management.

**Responsibilities**
- Process Purchase Orders and Change Orders ensuring that the appropriate legal Terms & Conditions are applied.
- Manage SRG’s Fuel Management program
- Review and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Build and manage Supply Chain metrics and reports
- Identify trends and recommend adjustments to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Pursue improvement in all aspects of the supply chain by reviewing current methodology and processes
- Spearhead small SCM projects and initiatives
- Participate in leadership and other training

**Requirements**:

- Post-Secondary degree/diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain in the construction or oil & gas industry
- Experience in data analysis, inventory management, procurement or logistics
- Proficient in MS Office (i.e. excel)
- Familiarity with Supply Chain Management (SCM) industry practices,
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to corporate purchasing practices and importation of goods and services is an asset
