**Carpenter Helper**

**Wisnia Inc Restoration** is a leading construction and industrial contracting services provider with an extensive portfolio of projects throughout the Ottawa, ON area. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Carpenter Helper. This position is responsible for the preparation of buildings and other structures for installation by following all construction standards and specifications.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform carpentry, drywall, painting, insulation on construction sites in accordance with company standards and specifications.
- Perform all work in accordance with company standards and specifications.
- Perform all work in accordance with company standards and specifications.
- Perform all work in accordance with company standards and specifications.
- Follow all safety regulations and policies.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times while performing work and while on company time.
- Complete all assigned work in a timely manner while adhering to schedule requirements.
- Maintain equipment while on the job site.
- Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly.
- Maintain an organized job site environment while performing duties.

Qualifications:

- Must be able to read drawings, or tape measure measurements to determine appropriate materials needed for project completion.
- Must be able to use basic hand tools such as saws, drills, etc..
- Must be able to follow instructions accurately and complete assigned work in a timely manner while adhering to schedule requirements.

**Salary**: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

- Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
