**Job Summary**

Strathmore is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to maintain, optimize and repair our clients’ irrigation systems.

**Main tasks**
- Installation and modernization of residential and commercial irrigation systems
- Preventative maintenance and advanced repairs: leaks, valves, wiring, controllers, rain sensors, water pressures
- Upgrade and optimization of existing systems (e.g. adding smart sensors, converting to energy-efficient systems)
- Seasonal opening and closing of irrigation systems
- Advanced diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical and hydraulic failures
- Customer service and recommendations: explain problems and solutions to customers, suggest improvements if necessary
- Other related tasks

**Job requirements**
- Good communication skills in French, English is an asset
- 3 years or more of experience in residential and commercial irrigation
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Wi-Fi controllers, flow sensors and smart technologies
- Ability to lead and train another member
- Valid driver's license (class 5) and a good record
- Good physical condition to work outdoors, in all weather
