Calling all Security Guards and Event Staffers

JTFSecurity is looking forward to another great event season on Vancouver Island We are starting the hiring process to fill a number of roles.

What better way to enjoy the wonderful events that Vancouver Island has to offer while making money for a company that provides excellence in customer service and attention to detail for all security needs.

JTF has proven its ability to create wonderful event experiences for our clients and staff alike.

Laketown Shakedown, Sunfest, Nanaimo Blues Festival, Cumberland Wild, Pacheena Bay Music Fest, Campbell Bay Music Festival, Nautical Day, Saratoga Speedway Events, Island Folk Fest, Campbell River Salmon Festival, are some of the exciting events that we will be servicing on Vancouver Island again.

If you are:

- A current BC Security license holder
- A strong team player who can adhere to strict communication and chain of command protocols.
- A confident communicator with good customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Able to get to and from festival locations on your own (and sometimes camp on site).
- Reliable and professional. This is not an invitation to party

Not a Guard? Not a Problem

We are currently hiring event staff to work alongside our licensed security teams. Two options:
1. Work without a license as event staff.

Under both options, you will receive valuable training and gain experience in the field. Not to mention get to be front and center at some great events. We offer flexible scheduling, so you can join us for one event or several, and you tell us when you can work. Events range from singe day to week long deployments.

Looking Forward

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Seasonal
Contract length: 1-5 days
Part-time hours: 4-40 per week

**Salary**: $18.50-$24.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- French not required

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Security Guard Licence (required)
