**Set Up Technician**

**We are currently looking for a Set Up Technician to join our team.**

Set up and operation of various machines/equipment (extrusion lines, slitting operations, ovens, mixers, grinders, shredders), quality control, basic housekeeping, and troubleshooting.

**Qualifications**
- Strong mechanical aptitude and reasoning ability
- Physical coordination
- Experience with hand held measuring equipment /blueprint & drawings
- Good math and computer skills
- High attention to detail
- Forklift license/experience,
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment with continuous processes.
- 3 - 5 years experience in a continuous production process (not assembly line) setting up, troubleshooting, tear downs, change overs

**Rate of Pay**

Depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, experiences both work and educational the rate starts at $21.43- $29.08hour

**Shifts**

**Permanent, Full Time Position**

12 hr continental day/night shift, with 4-week turnaround

Averaging agreements in place

84 hrs biweekly

with opportunity for OT

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.43-$29.08 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Orangeville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Setup Technician: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Night Shift (preferred)
- Day Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)
