Our mission at Westguard is to make people feel safe. As a full-time security guard, you'll be responsible for the protection of people and assets by patrolling designated areas, identifying, and reporting safety hazards and reporting security breaches, as well as completing all reporting and radio check-ins. Other duties may include responding to alarms and emergencies and controlling access to the site. You will provide excellent customer service to our clients and guests, while providing a visual security presence to deter and detect unauthorized guests.

**What Would You Bring**:

- ** Valid BC Security Licence**:

- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Confidence in handling and deescalating confrontation in an assertive, calm and respectful manner.
- Comfort working independently and in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift, carry and push weights of up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk and stand for an entire eight-hour shift
- Ability to be part of a two or three-person team

**Availability**:

- Full Time
- Days, Afternoons, Overnights
- Weekdays and Weekends
