**Our expectation**:
The primary purpose of District Asset Protection and Safety Manager (DAPSM) is to implement and oversee asset protection, safety, and operational shrink within the district and ensure that these programs achieve key company objectives. This role leads a team of store-based Asset Protection and Safety Managers who are responsible for training and influencing store teams to execute asset protection, safety, and operational retail processes and initiatives. Through proper implementation of safety, shrink, and operational programs, the incumbent ensures that stores maintain a safe environment for both customers and associates while also meeting inventory shrink targets and providing the overall desired customer experience. This role works closely with the district team, store leadership and associates, the field Human Resources team as well as key partners in the corporate office, to identify and proactively address opportunities to improve the organization’s financial performance and customer experience. The incumbent continuously analyzes opportunities for improvement, relays that information to appropriate people, and generates potential solutions.

**Your role**:

- Evaluate that assigned stores are operating within established company policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Perform store walk-throughs and use all available tools to review the overall safety, security, and operational efficiency of stores
- Provide training and support during program rollouts and system enhancements
- Hire, supervise, train, and develop Asset Protection and Safety Managers in assigned stores
- Provide open feedback and mentorship to team members to encourage growth and greater responsibility
- Build relationships and collaborate effectively with key internal and external leaders and stakeholders, including regional, district, and store leadership teams

**The qualifications we are looking for**:

- 5 years’ experience in a retail/Big-Box multi-store environment
- 5 years’ experience in a management role
- Regular licence from the Bureau de la sécurité privée (BSP Security Guarding)
- Investigation licence (a major asset)
- Demonstrated experience analyzing and using varied sources of data to understand underlying drivers of complex problems (e.g., P&L, exception reports)
- Customer service-minded approach
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams and omni-channel retail environments
- Experience conducting quality reviews/audits
- Experience using physical security systems (e.g., CCTV, EAS)
