Overview:
**The Pickle Barrel is looking for a Manager of Guest Experience at our Cambridge, Ontario location.**
The Pickle Barrel began with a mission. We believed that amazing dining experiences didn’t need to be elitist, so we began a restaurant that combined ‘quality’ with ‘incredible value’. Today we have restaurants all across the Greater Toronto Area, with a menu that offers over 200 items brought to you by over 1,000 employees
- with no shortcuts. We promise to put real fresh food on the table every time
We are looking for individuals that are passionate about food, hospitality, and providing their Guests with a Perfect Dining Experience to join our Pickle Barrel family
**Responsibilities**:
- Fostering a positive work environment that supports and promotes exceptional guest-focused service
- Evaluating the effectiveness and reporting on the metrics of all such programs to general manager
- Managing team member relations including recruitment, scheduling, training & developing, coaching and recognition
- Promoting a work environment that is healthy, safe and based on respect and trust
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Manager in an upscale dining environment with similar sales volume
- Post-secondary education, preferably in hospitality and/or business related field
- Strong business acumen, including an understanding of budgets and operating costs
- Extensive knowledge of restaurant operations, food and beverage
- Excellent understanding of the upscale dining industry
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and direct other
