For the new Supervisor role, a hands-on approach is essential to ensure smooth daily operations. This means being actively involved in overseeing the team, managing tasks, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Supervisor will be responsible for tasks such as staff scheduling, inventory management, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, handling customer inquiries or issues, and also assisting with food preparation or serving during busy periods.
Given the location and target demographic of office workers, efficiency and attention to details are key priorities for this role. They'll need to balance the demands of maintaining high standards with the need for quick service to accommodate the busy schedules of the clientele. **Responsibilities**:
- Oversee and coach team as well as conducts regular check-ins with all staff
- Monitors business flow and efficiently schedules staff
- Ensures quality and consistency of our food and beverages upholding our standards and practices.
- Maintains high levels of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
- Upholds professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper work uniform and appearance standards
- Establishes and enforces exceptional outstanding customer experience
**Qualifications**:
- Supervisory and Customer Service experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead
- Prior similar experience in a coffee shop and breakfast/lunch service environment (having worked with semi-automated espresso machine extensively and able to craft espresso-based drinks in a high-paced environment as well as sandwiches).
- Excellent communication skills
Weekend availability is a must, 6 days per week.
Shift will vary between 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay: From $48,000.00 per year
