**Position Summary**: We are looking for a motivated **310T Apprentice Technician** to join our team. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will assist in servicing, repairing, overhauling, diagnosing, and inspecting motor coaches, heavy trucks, and truck-trailers under the guidance of experienced technicians.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in performing all levels of preventive maintenance services on trucks and trailers.
- Support the diagnosis and repair of operating issues, including:

- Frames and Steering Mechanisms
- Engines and Transmissions
- Brakes and Ignition Systems
- Axles and Fuel Systems
- Engine Management Systems
- Suspension Systems
- Electrical/Electronic Systems
- Emission Control Systems
- Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Systems
- Aid in maintaining the condition of transport trailer units and truck APU’s by:

- Reviewing Shop Orders
- Listening to Operator Complaints
- Assisting in the repair and replacement of parts
- Learning to use Soldering, Welding, and Refrigeration Equipment
- Participate in the installation of new units on trucks and coaches.
- Help maintain a clean and safe work area.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant education or a strong desire to learn in truck and coach mechanics.
- A valid Class “G” driver’s license for Ontario.
- Previous experience in motor coach, heavy truck, or truck-trailer maintenance is a plus but not required.
- Basic proficiency with trade tools, including welding equipment, paint equipment, and power tools is beneficial.
- Ozone Depletion Prevention Certification is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Must be able to lift heavy materials (over 75 lbs) such as trailer suspension parts and tires.
