Regina, Canada Regina Optimist Dolphins Swim Team Full time

The **Regina Optimist Dolphins Swim Team (RODS)** in Regina, Saskatchewan is an organization that helps young people become winners in every area of their lives. We are expanding our **Junior Dolphins** lessons program, and are in need of great professional **swim instructors** to help us run more classes We prepare our instructors. We provide **lesson plans**, group lists, report cards, **equipment**, and everything you need to run effective swim lessons.

Swimming instructors will report directly to the **JD Program Supervisor**.

**Basic Requirements**
- At least **15 years old**, and must provide **valid CRC+VSC **if 18 or older (valid for 3 years)
- Prior experience in **swimming**, **coaching**, or **teaching** is very much appreciated.

**OPTION A: If you are a Lifeguard / Swim Instructor**:

- **Swim Teacher training**: If you have **“Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor”** / **“Swim for Life Instructor”** / **“Lifesaving Instructor” / “I Can Swim Teacher”**, please apply

**OPTION B: If you are a Swim Coach**:

- Coaches with **Fundamentals Coach / Swimming 101 “In-Training”** are also welcome.

Coaches have **30 days from start** to complete the necessary courses if not fully certified.

Must complete **free coach registration** and **free Respect in Sport** within **14 days of start**.

Shifts will run from **4:30 to 6:30pm** at the **University of Regina**, which is a shallow-water pool.

RODS offers wages up to **$22/h** commensurate with the applicant’s experience / qualifications.

**Applying**

Coaches that are interested in being involved on an **on-call / sub basis** will also be considered. We prefer coaches that are able to work **multiple days per week**, but will consider single days.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 3-12 months

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 8 per week
