**Please Read the whole ad carefully** **At Midnight Tire and Wheel**, we are looking for the **BEST** **Tire Technicians**in Edmonton. We specialize in Aftermarket Wheels and oversized tire installs. As well as fast 30-60minute appointments for most tire changeovers and balances. **What we offer**: - **Competitive wages: $20 - $25 per hour depending on experience**: - 2 weeks Paid time off - We will help develop your skills and work with you to achieve success in this industry - The opportunity to work with an excellent team in a clean, safe, and respectful environment - Regular full time day shifts, we typically work 10am-6pm Tuesday-Saturday in the slower seasons. Then Monday-Saturday 10am-7pm through the busy seasons - Discounts for you, your family and friends on tires, wheels or auto parts - Paid time off with more flexible hours as our company grows. - Note_ : Our ideal hours once we hire more people would be 4x 10hour shifts with 3 days off. Minimal overtime needed, to help prioritize our employees/our personal lives. Which we know is very irregular in this industry. **You will be responsible for**: - Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels - Maintaining an **Extremely** **High** quality of work - Resetting and repairing TPMS - Maintaining tire/wheel service equipment - Completing specialty tire work including oversized tire installs, lots of tire studding, run flats and low profile tires - Inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory - Potentially speaking with customers about tire issues and solutions including sales - Work will be performed in a heated shop among skilled coworkers that are knowledgeable and willing to help should the need arise - 2+ full PAID weeks off over Christmas and New years. (This past year was Dec 22-Jan 6) Note: Your personal health and safety, along with team safety is priority to any customer needs, wants or requests **What does it take to become a part of our team?** - **Reliable, Trustworthy, Skilled and Knowledgeable.**: - **Applicants ONLY accepted with significant tire and automotive talent OR experience (3-5+ years)**: - **Willingness to learn sales OR sales and customer service experience is a huge asset**: - Proficient problem solving abilities, and a "make it happen" attitude - A high level of people skills and patience with customers - Eagerness to learn and become exceptional in this industry - An in depth knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, TPMS, and wheels - Ability to develop bonds and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers - A keen attention to detail and a constant pursuit of perfection - Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract - Above average computer skills - Ability to consistently lift 50+ lbs (some tire assemblies we work with exceed 100+ lbs) Currently just with myself and business partner we change approximately 10,000 tires per year. We are extremely busy for 4-5 months of the year and are looking for people to grow this company with. Someone who brings solutions not problems. Be bigger than Kal, Fountain, Costco or the other large corporations that don't give 2 sh*ts about you as a person. Trust us, we've been there.
