Host/hostess

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Host/Host to join our team. The Host/Host will be the first point of contact for guests, providing a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests as they arrive and bid them farewell as they leave
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area
- Provide menus and relay information about specials
- Collaborate with servers to ensure efficient service
- Handle phone calls and inquiries with professionalism
- Operate the POS system for seating assignments and transactions

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling guest inquiries
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of guest services principles is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
