The Country Grocer HR Department is looking for the right professional to fill the newly created role of **Recruiter**. This position will work collaboratively with our 2 HR Managers and management team while providing full-cycle recruitment support to our 5 stores and warehouse. The right fit is someone who is confident, proactive, professional, detail oriented and people-focused.

This is an ideal position for a student working towards their HR degree, or a new grad looking to start their HR career with an incredible company. This hybrid part-time (24-32 hours) position, primarily based out of our Royal Oak office. The ability to travel to all of our island locations on occasion is required.

This role requires flexibility and adaptability as duties can fluctuate from day to day and is vital to supporting the overall success of Country Grocer’s Human Resources team

**As Recruiter, your job encompasses some of the following**:

- Work with the management team to assess their recruitment needs
- Manage all job postings both externally and on Country Grocer’s company website
- Manage administrative aspect of recruitment; file management, photocopying, scanning, and other duties as required
- Provide updates on progress and recruitment strategies with senior management
- Participate in the onboarding of new hires; facilitate orientation
- Communicate and build a strong rapport with the Human Resources team and management team
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned

**Experience and Education**:

- Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management preferred, student or graduate
- Experience with full-cycle recruitment an asset
- CPHR designation or working towards designation would be considered an asset
- Familiar with the following (or similar) software: Outlook, Slack, Microsoft suite, Indeed Hiring Platform
- Must have own vehicle and be willing to travel; mileage will be covered
