The Gonneau Building Group is an integrated Engineering, Design and General Contracting firm that has been defining Muskoka for 5 generations. We create beautiful spaces for our clients that respect the natural landscape. We are seeking an experienced Handyman/Woman with a variety of home improvement skills to join our team and support the growth of our business. We service properties from Georgian Bay to Haliburton and Orillia to Almaguin. Team members come from all areas we service. **Duties & Responsibilities**:
Building and restoring cottage country businesses, homes and cottages, you will help us create the space of our client’s dreams, by providing high quality services as follows:

- General Carpentry (rough and finish) - framing small additions, door and windows repairs and caulking, removing & installing baseboards / trim.
- Drywalling - installing, patching, sanding
- Flooring - removing, installing and repairing
- Painting - prepwork, interior and exterior painting, touch ups
- Tiling - removing, repairing, & replacing, tiles, grouting, sealing
- Assembly - closets, cabinets, counter tops, fixtures
- Other general Interior home repairs and renovations

**Job Requirements**:

- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Valid and clean driver’s license
- Ability to climb ladders, enter crawl spaces, lift heavy loads (50 lbs)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate a professional approach to working with clients.
- Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills.
- Good communication ability, well-organized and apt in problem-solving.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week

On-Call: All our team members rotate through an on-call schedule.

Schedule:
