Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook food for events, such as weddings, parties, and corporate functions
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in a timely and professional manner
- Oversee inventory control, ensuring that all ingredients are available
- Coordinate ordering and/or shopping for food, equipment, and supplies
- Monitor food cost, waste reduction strategies, and implement inventory rotation practices
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in the kitchen
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and work area
- Support promotional events or special requests related to menu and kitchen service

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in kitchen management, culinary arts, or related fields - Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality food presentation
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, inventory management, and cost control practices
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

- Secondary School (preferred)

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

- Driving Licence (required)
