**Job Summary**

CNC Operator is responsible for manufacturing quality parts produced on CNC machines according to the supplied drawings. Responsibilities will include loading parts, operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance and requirements. The CNC Operator must detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine as required to insure quality of production.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Must work under the direction of a supervisor and/or experienced machinist; be responsible for quality parts produced on CNC Lathe or Mill.
- Must be capable of: loading parts, operating controls, setting offsets, simple program edits, deburring and inspection of finished product.
- Needs to be able to interpret drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces.
- Must be able to detect equipment malfunction or out of tolerance machining and adjust machine as required.
- Needs to be able to communicate with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
- Is responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic maintenance on equipment.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC Lathe or Mill.
- **Provide minimum 2 prior employment references.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
