Electrical Project Manager, Buildings

This is your opportunity to join WSP as an intermediate Project Manager Electrical (MEP) to join our growing Buildings team in Hamilton office. This position is based in the Southwest Ontario region with options to work from Burlington, Cambridge, Kitchener, London, Windsor and St. Catherines offices. Reporting to the M&E Manager, This role requires an individual with strong leadership skills, extensive experience in managing complex mechanical engineering projects, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

**What you can expect to do here**:

- Support the Manager on complex projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate and coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
- Ensure all engineering work meets quality standards and codes, while ensuring client expectations are met.

**What you’ll bring to WSP**:

- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in engineering consulting industry and possessing a valid PEO license
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards.
- Demonstrated experience in the design of electrical systems across various facility types.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Desire to participate in client management and business development activities.
