Campbell River, Canada Dolphins Resort Full time

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team. We are willing to negotiate wage depending on experience. As a Line Cook, you will play a key role in the preperation and assembly of dishes according to our restaurant's recipes and quality standards. Please note, we do not offer staff accommodations.

Your responsibilites will include but are not limited to:

- Following recipes and portion controls, and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality of food.
- Operating equipment, such as grills, fryers, ovens and knives safely and efficiently.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed at all times.
- Collaborating with other kitchen team members to expedite orders and maintain a smooth workflow during busy service periods.
- Assisting with food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
- Monitoring food inventory levels and notifying the head chef of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Adhering to all food safety regulations and guidelines, including temperature controls and hygiene practices.
- Assisting with cleaning duties, such as dishwashing and kitchen sanitation, as needed.

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 yrs minimum experience as a Line Cook.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle mutiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with coworkers.
- Flexibility to work evenings, mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects as needed.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic kitchen environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
